Upgrade or Reimagine?

Danielle Castelli of Torrenti Cycles in North Carolina sent a quick (who has time right now?) update on a customer’s re-build. It is awesome when a cyclist is so attached to their 15-year old platform that they bring it right up to 2021 spec level.

We hope that you caught Danielle’s keynote at CABDA On-line, presenting strategies for avoiding workshop burnout. The message was strong and the backdrop of a clean and organized small machine shop stole the show.

Some notable oversights for the picture: pedal wrench, Shimano preload tool, splined bb tool, 8mm wrench…

“I’m a tool drawer person, so this is not all the tools but a good chunk of what was needed. Practically every tool in the main drawer was employed. It’s a better bike now.” – Danielle Castelli
